Legacy of Yakuza
It ‘s hard enough for you today not to be aware of the Yakuza saga, a franchise that was born with the Yakuza video game – so – in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 console and we were lucky enough to get a year later in our country, And translated into Spanish! In most installments we handle Kazuma Kiryu, a member of one of the bloodiest Yakuza clans in Japan, the Tojo clan. Like everything in life, there are certain nuances in this aspect because there are too many turbulent things in Kazuma’s life that would give your article like the one we publish here just over a month ago. Check it out to learn more about the general history of the franchise.
What we now have in hand is a remastering chapters Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 Y. Yakuza 5, with Kiryu Kazuma as the main character in each of them, but also with other in-game characters that add more variety to the plot. Because each installment in this holy house is analyzed several times, you can click on the linked links in each iteration numbers to learn more about its history, milestones and characteristics that make each installment unique.
One of the important things to emphasize is that this Yakuza Remake Collection is for Xbox One he has not received a Kiwami contract as it is commonly called. This treatment refers to the renaming of the game under a new engine, which we have already seen in Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2. This engine refreshed the first two installments with beastly quality and multiple improvements not only visually, but usable also.
The result is that Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 are adaptations of the original titles by resolution 1080p and 60 images always per second. And to tell the truth, you don’t need anything else because you have a heart attack, even more than many proposals that come up daily on the Microsoft console. The only problem comes from seeing that the controls are still a bit ancient compared to Yakuza 0 or both Kiwamis, as more robotic things. On the other hand, the menus are not fully adapted to HD quality and the video scenes are the same. It’s not serious at all, nor is it tormented, but it is.
The best thing about this compilation, as well as eventually coming to Xbox One, is recover additions in the form of mini – games from the third installment and other visual tweaks to the interface that improve the quality of life of all three titles. We see better smoothing on the margins as well as an English translation – we don’t have texts in Spanish yet – improved on the original titles. In short, the same adjustments and additions that Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 received on PlayStation 4 in their remodeled versions.
Another reason to enjoy the Yakuza Remodeling Collection is that this trilogy along with Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are now in service. Pass game. Or is it the same, the whole series was numbered 9.99 euros per month which, as you can guess, is a real bargain. It should be said, yes, that none of them are localized to Spanish except Yakuza 0 for computers, and thanks to a user outside of SEGA or Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.
Anyway, but with the trilogy you have hours and hours of fun and, certainly, the majority in its minigames, of which the last installment, Yakuza 5, is the most cautious in this regard. In addition, it is not necessary to download all three titles since they can be downloaded separately in case of purchasing the digital package, which worries many users about the final size of the set.
We can only tell you a little more about the Yakuza Remastered Collection unless you have played any of the titles in this collection, do it now. Due to the visually refreshed feature with more definition and immovable frame rate they are much better video games than they already were and above all, more visually appealing.
The Yakuza Remake Collection completes the numbering cycle of Yakuza on Xbox One with three excellent remixes in the absence of Yakuza 6: Song of Life coming to Microsoft machine soon. They are not replaced under the engine used in Kiwami and that means the graphics remain the same as before, although they are of a better resolution but are still very visually powerful. It also comes with interface enhancements and mini-games never seen before in the West.
